The ideologies of both the Right and the Left are operating as pseudo-religions, and drawing people away from orthodox faith. Each a political religion "with a twist of Christianity." How do we stay faithful to Jesus and not let our heart get swept away? Through the practice of reading Scripture we come to let Jesus' words abide deep in our being, and shape the trajectory of our soul.
